Must Haves In Your Gym Bag
Okay so especially us girls, our gym bag, purse, back pack,
whatever back you carry I’m sure has tons and tons of things in it from lip
gloss, to tampons, to bobby pins, to even a tide to go pen. To me there are a
few must haves you should always have in your gym back to make your day much
easier!
1.
Body
Spray: any type of body spray, but I find that I like the clean linene
scents the best because I cant stand spraying myself with something rich or
fruity after being super sweaty at the gym.. just can’t stand the smell, but
whatever scent floats your boat it’s a must have!
2.
Dryer
Sheets: Dryer Sheetz actually help your gym bag from smelling like straight
B.O. and sweat especially if you have socks or clothes left in your bag for
like a week.. face it we all do it. Simply place a dryer sheet at the bottom of
your bag, or wherever in your bag and it should help take out some of the odor!
3.
Dry
Shampoo: Dry shampoo saves my
life like 4 times a week, since I workout before class in the morning at 8 am, I
blow dry the sweat out of my hair, sounds gross but trust me if you have thick
long hair you don’t have time to wash it so do your normal shower routine, blow
dry the sweat out, apply dry shampoo as needed and style. It’s a life saver!! I
use Suave and have loved my results. I also use Not Your Mothers Beach Babe texturizing
spray sometimes for beach waves!
4.
Protein
Bar: I always keep a protein bar or healthy snack in my gym bag for post
workout, if you’re like me and just can’t drink protein shakes, a protein bar
is the way to go! I got real sick off a shake in April 2014 and haven’t been
able to drink one since L
I go for a bar that has at least 10g of protein or more, less than 5g of sugar
or none at all, and low carbs. Quest bars are great for this, some KIND bars
are good too. Whatever kind of snack you prefer try and keep it healthy!
5.
Headphones:
I can’t tell you enough how many times I get to the gym and I can’t find my
headphones or they are in another bag of mine! When I do cardio, I looooove to
listen to my playlists that just get me amped to power through a workout.
6.
Extra
Socks: So it’s fall, and ladies we love our boots, booties, and heels
right.. some of these you don’t have to wear socks with.. I wear socks with
almost everything but that’s just me. But how shitty is it when you get to the
gym from work or class and you reach for socks in your gym bag and they aren’t
there! So annoying even though u can go sockless you can ruin your shoes,
create blisters, and it’s just not comfortable. Always keep a pair of socks in
your bag and you won’t be sorry!
7.
Razor:
So it’s been a few days since you’ve shaved…everywhere, and when it’s cold
outside who really wants to shave those legs, or armpits for that matter, I always
keep a razor in my gym bag mainly for my underarms because sometimes it gets
out of hand.. and sporting that new tank top with armpit hair as an accessory
just isn’t cute.
8.
Hair
Accessories: If you’re like me and lose like 546464654 bobby pins, hair
ties, and headbands then having extra will definitely benefit you! Too many
times have I forgotten a head band and I’m forced to keep pushing the hair back
out of my face as I run… smh Brittney.
9.
Feminine
Products: Periods and the gym never agree.. I mean never. Feeling bloated,
bloody, and like 4555 pounds just doesn’t scream workout. Always keep pads or
tampons in your gym bag because you never know when nature calls!
10.
Beauty
Products: A little mascara, bronzer,
and blush can go a long way ladies! If you’re in a hurry to race to class or
work after a workout, add some mascara bronzer and blush for refresh your face
for the day! A Perk for me is that my face doesn’t feel weighted down with make
up but it’s just enough to not look sleepy, red, or dead!
